§ 1. Üldsätted
(1) Riigi õigusabi infosüsteem (edaspidi infosüsteem) on riigi infosüsteemi kuuluv andmekogu koos selle pidamiseks vajaliku infotehnoloogilise keskkonnaga. (2) Infosüsteem on andmevahetuskihi X-tee kaudu liidestatud e-toimiku süsteemiga. (3) Infosüsteemi ametlik lühend on RIS.
