Dem Bundesministerium für Bildung und Forschung wird unter teilweiser Aufhebung der Organisationserlasse des Bundeskanzlers von Dezember 1972 (BAnz. Nr. 238 vom 20. Dezember 1972) – Abschnitt VII – und vom 27. Oktober 1998 (BGBl. I S. 3288) – Abschnitt IV – aus dem Geschäftsbereich des Beauftragten der Bundesregierung für Angelegenheiten der Kultur und Medien die Zuständigkeit für folgende Institute übertragen: a) Deutsches Bergbau-Museum, Bochum (DBM) b) Deutsches Museum, München (DM) c) Deutsches Schiffahrtmuseum, Bremerhaven (DSM) d) Germanisches Nationalmuseum, Nürnberg (GNM) e) Römisch-Germanisches Zentralmuseum, Mainz (RGZM) f) Zoologisches Forschungsmuseum Alexander Koenig, Bonn (ZFMK).
