M1 Guidance
(1) The Secretary of State may issue guidance to persons entitled to apply for orders under section A1 (see section B1) about the exercise of their functions under this Part. (2) The Secretary of State may revise any guidance issued under this section. (3) Before issuing or revising guidance under this section, the Secretary of State must consult such persons as the Secretary of State considers appropriate. (4) Subsection (3) does not apply to revisions that the Secretary of State considers are not substantial. (5) The requirement in subsection (3) to consult before issuing guidance may be satisfied by consultation carried out wholly or partly before this section comes into force. (6) The Secretary of State must arrange for any guidance issued or revised under this section to be published.
