§ 17 Datenaufbewahrung
Verwaltungsvorgänge und Daten zur Aufnahme nach diesem Gesetz sind bei den zuständigen Verwaltungsbehörden solange aufzubewahren, wie schutzwürdige Interessen der Verfahrensbeteiligten, ihrer Familienangehörigen oder ihrer Nachkommen am Nachweis ihrer Aufnahme im Sinne von Artikel 116 Absatz 1 des Grundgesetzes oder öffentliche Interessen dies erfordern, höchstens bis fünf Jahre nach dem Tod der Verfahrensbeteiligten.
