Title 34.1 Uniform Commercial Code

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

What to do with it
As published

34.1-2-512. Payment by buyer before inspection.

(a) Where the contract requires payment before inspection nonconformity of the goods does not excuse the buyer from so making payment unless: (i) The nonconformity appears without inspection; or (ii) Despite tender of the required documents the circumstances would justify injunction against honor under this act (section 34.1-5-109(b)). (b) Payment pursuant to subsection (a) does not constitute an acceptance of goods or impair the buyer's right to inspect or any of his remedies.

Your change, as a redline

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
