Title 34.1 Uniform Commercial Code

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

What to do with it
As published

34.1-2.A-215. Cumulation and conflict of warranties express or implied.

(a) Warranties, whether express or implied, must be construed as consistent with each other and as cumulative, but if that construction is unreasonable, the intention of the parties determines which warranty is dominant. In ascertaining that intention the following rules apply: (i) Exact or technical specifications displace an inconsistent sample or model or general language of description; (ii) A sample from an existing bulk displaces inconsistent general language of description; (iii) Express warranties displace inconsistent implied warranties other than an implied warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

Your change, as a redline

34.1-2.A-215. Cumulation and conflict of warranties express or implied.

(a) Warranties, whether express or implied, must be construed as consistent with each other and as cumulative, but if that construction is unreasonable, the intention of the parties determines which warranty is dominant. One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
