Title 21 Education

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

Your change, as a redline

21-12-102. Powers of boards of trustees establishing and maintaining programs.

(a) The board of trustees of any school district within the state establishing and maintaining an adult education program under this chapter, in addition to all other powers provided by law, may: (i) Fix fee and tuition rates for adult education courses; (ii) Cooperate with the state department of education, the state board, community college commission and the federal government in administering the program; and (iii) Do all things necessary to promote the purposes of this article.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
