§ 56
Jedes Mitglied des Gerichts kann Vorschläge für die Entschließung des Plenums gemäß § 7a BVerfGG machen. Sie sind spätestens eine Woche vor der Sitzung des Plenums einzureichen und zu begründen; dabei ist mitzuteilen, ob die Vorgeschlagenen mit der Nominierung im Plenum einverstanden sind. Von der Einhaltung der Vorschlagsfrist kann im Einverständnis aller anwesenden Mitglieder des Gerichts abgesehen werden.
