Title 2 Wills, Decedents' Estates and Probate Code

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

What to do with it
As published

2-7-619. Bond to prevent sale; liability for breach; effect of compliance.

(a) Any person interested in the estate may prevent a sale, mortgage, pledge, exchange or lease of the whole or any part of the real estate or personal property for any purpose by giving bond to the satisfaction of the court, conditioned that he will pay such demands against the estate as the court shall require not to exceed the value of the property thus kept from sale, mortgage, pledge, exchange or lease as soon as called upon by the court for that purpose. (b) If the conditions of the bond are broken the property will be liable for the debts unless it has passed into the hands of innocent purchasers, and the personal representative may take possession thereof and sell it under the direction of the court, or he may prosecute the bond, or pursue both remedies at the same time if the court so directs. (c) If the conditions of the bond are complied with the property shall pass by devise, bequest, distribution or descent as though there had been no debts against the estate.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
