Title 8 General Provisions

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

Your change, as a redline

8-3-123. State code.

(a) The code of the west, as derived from the book, Cowboy Ethics by James P. Owen, and summarized as follows, is the official state code of Wyoming. The code includes: (i) Live each day with courage; (ii) Take pride in your work; (iii) Always finish what you start; (iv) Do what has to be done; (v) Be tough, but fair; (vi) When you make a promise, keep it; (vii) Ride for the brand; (viii) Talk less, say more; (ix) Remember that some things are not for sale; (x) Know where to draw the line.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
