Title 6 Crimes and Offenses

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

6-6-206. Cancellation of closing order and release of

property upon payment of costs, filing of bond and promised abatement of nuisance; effect of release. If the owner appears and pays all costs of the proceeding, and files a bond with sureties to be approved by the clerk in the full value of the property, as specified by the court, conditioned that he will immediately abate the nuisance and prevent recurrence of the nuisance for a time specified by the court, the court may, if satisfied of his good faith, cancel the order of abatement as it relates to the property. The release of the property under this section shall not release it from any judgment, lien or liability to which it may be subject by law.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
