Space Industry Act 2018
Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.
Change 1
19 Safety regulations
(1) Regulations (referred to in this Act as “safety regulations”) may make provision for the purposes of— (a) securing the safe operation of spaceports and mission management facilities; (b) securing that spaceflight activities are carried out safely; (c) securing that the range for spaceflight activities enables the activities to be carried out safely. (2) Schedule 3 gives examples of particular kinds of provision that may be made by safety regulations. That Schedule does not limit subsection (1). (3) The regulator may issue guidance about how a person carrying out spaceflight activities, operating a spaceport or providing range control services may comply with requirements imposed by safety regulations. (4) In this Act “mission management facility” means a site (other than a spaceport) from which spaceflight activities are controlled or (as the case may be) are to be controlled.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".
Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.
A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
