§ 4
Im Falle der Umwandlung eines Dienstverhältnisses im Sinne des § 45a des Soldatengesetzes bis zum 31. Dezember 2008 ist § 19 des Soldatenversorgungsgesetzes mit der Maßgabe anzuwenden, dass die Übergangsbeihilfe für jedes weitere vollendete Jahr der Wehrdienstzeit von mehr als zwölf Jahren um ein Zwölftel, höchstens jedoch um acht Zwölftel der nach § 19 Absatz 2 Nummer 5 und Absatz 3 des Soldatenversorgungsgesetzes zustehenden Übergangsbeihilfe zu erhöhen ist.
