Technical and Further Education Act 2017
Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.
Change 1
27 Grants and loans where education administration order is made
(1) If an education administration order has been made in relation to a further education body, the appropriate national authority may make grants or loans to the body for the purpose of achieving the objective of the education administration. (2) A grant or loan under this section may be made on whatever terms the appropriate national authority considers appropriate (including terms relating to repayment of the grant or loan, with or without interest). (3) In the case of a loan, the terms must provide for paragraph 99(7)(a), (b) or (c) of Schedule B1 to the Insolvency Act 1986 (vacation of office: charges and liabilities) to apply in relation to any sum that must be paid by the further education body in respect of the loan or interest on it. (4) In subsection (3) the reference to paragraph 99 of Schedule B1 to the Insolvency Act 1986 is to that Schedule as applied by Schedule 3 or 4 to this Act.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".
Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.
A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
