Technical and Further Education Act 2017
Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.
Change 1
30 Guarantees where education administration order is made
(1) If an education administration order has been made in relation to a further education body the appropriate national authority may guarantee— (a) the repayment of any sum borrowed by the body while that order is in force, (b) the payment of interest on any sum borrowed by the body while that order is in force, and (c) the discharge of any other financial obligation of the body in connection with the borrowing of any sum while that order is in force. (2) The appropriate national authority may give the guarantees in whatever manner, and on whatever terms, the appropriate national authority considers appropriate. (3) As soon as possible after giving a guarantee under this section, the appropriate national authority must lay a statement of the guarantee before Parliament or the National Assembly for Wales (as appropriate). (4) For repayment of sums paid by the appropriate national authority under a guarantee given under this section, see section 31.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".
Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.
A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
