Council Directive 75/324/EEC of 20 May 1975 on the approximation of the laws of the Member States relating to aerosol dispensers

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

Article 8

1. Without prejudice to Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 of the European Parliament and of the Council ( 1 ), each aerosol dispenser or, where particulars cannot be put on the aerosol dispenser due to its small dimensions (maximum capacity of 150 ml or less) a label attached thereto must bear the following particulars in visible, legible and indelible characters: (a) the name and address or trade mark of the person responsible for marketing the aerosol dispenser, (b) the symbol ‘3’ (inverted epsilon) certifying conformity with the requirements of this Directive, (c) code markings enabling the filling batch to be identified, (d) the details referred to in point 2.2 of the Annex, (e) the net contents by weight and by volume. 1a. One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
