(1) Bei dem Bundesgerichtshof werden Zivil- und Strafsenate gebildet und Ermittlungsrichter bestellt. Ihre Zahl bestimmt der Bundesminister der Justiz und für Verbraucherschutz. (2) Der Bundesminister der Justiz und für Verbraucherschutz wird ermächtigt, Zivil- und Strafsenate auch außerhalb des Sitzes des Bundesgerichtshofes zu bilden und die Dienstsitze für Ermittlungsrichter des Bundesgerichtshofes zu bestimmen.
