Im Bestreben, die Verbundenheit der Bevölkerung mit dem Munot zu fördern, bezweckt der Munotverein: a) die Erhaltung des Munots in seinem Charakter als historisches Bauwerk; b) den Unterhalt der vereinseigenen Einrichtungen und Mobilien auf der Munotzinne sowie die Pflege der Waffensammlung; c) die Organisation von Veranstaltungen auf dem Munot; d) die Pflege von Traditionen auf dem Munot, wie z.B. die Munot- Française, die Munot-Bälle und das Kinderfest.
