Subsidy Control Act 2022
Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.
Change 1
56 Voluntary referral to CMA
(1) A public authority may request a report from the CMA before giving a subsidy, or making a subsidy scheme, of interest. (2) The request must— (a) include the information in relation to the subsidy or subsidy scheme that would be required under section 34, if the subsidy or scheme were to be given or made, (b) provide such other information as is specified in regulations under subsection (3)(a), (c) explain why the public authority considers that the subsidy or subsidy scheme would meet the criteria for being a subsidy, or subsidy scheme, of interest, (d) include an assessment by the public authority as to whether the subsidy or scheme would comply with the requirements of Chapters 1 and 2 of Part 2, and the reasons for that conclusion, and (e) include any evidence relevant to that assessment. (3) The Secretary of State may by regulations— (a) specify further information that must be included in a request under this section; (b) make provision as to the form of a request under this section. (4) Regulations under subsection (3)(a) and (b) are subject to the negative procedure.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".
Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.
A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
