Subsidy Control Act 2022
Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.
Change 1
73 CAT powers on review: Scotland
(1) This section applies to applications under section 70 in Scotland. (2) The powers of the Tribunal in respect of such applications are the same as the powers of review of the Court of Session in an application to the supervisory jurisdiction of that Court. (3) In the exercise of its powers by virtue of subsection (2), the Tribunal may also make a recovery order in accordance with section 74. (4) In deciding how to exercise its powers, the Tribunal must apply principles that the Court of Session would apply in deciding an application to the supervisory jurisdiction of that Court. (5) An order of the Tribunal by virtue of subsection (2)— (a) has the same effect as the corresponding order granted by the Court of Session on an application to the supervisory jurisdiction of that Court, and (b) is enforceable as if it were an order so granted by that Court.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".
Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.
A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
