Crime and Policing Act 2026
Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

229 Rules of court about anonymity for respondents
(1) Rules of court relating to YDO proceedings may make provision for— (a) the making by chief officers of police or the respondent of an application to a court for an order requiring anonymity for the respondent, and (b) the making by the court, on such an application, of an order requiring such anonymity. (2) In this section references to an order requiring anonymity for the respondent are to an order by a court which imposes such prohibitions or restrictions as it considers appropriate on the disclosure (by persons generally, or by such persons as the court specifies or describes) of— (a) the identity of the respondent, or (b) any information that would tend to identify the respondent. (3) In this section “YDO proceedings” means— (a) proceedings under or by virtue of this Chapter, or (b) proceedings on an appeal against a decision made in any such proceedings.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".
Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.
A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
