Groceries Code Adjudicator Act 2013
Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

23 Orders
(1) Orders under this Act are to be made by statutory instrument. (2) A statutory instrument containing an order under section 9(6), 15(11) or 16(1) or (2)(a) or (b) may not be made unless a draft of the instrument has been laid before and approved by a resolution of each House of Parliament. (3) Any other statutory instrument under this Act, other than one that contains only an order under section 25, is subject to annulment as an instrument to which section 5(1) of the Statutory Instruments Act 1946 applies. (4) Orders under this Act may include measures that are consequential, supplementary, incidental, transitional or transitory.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".
Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.
A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
