Title 9 Administration of the Government

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

(b) The secretary of state shall receive no fee for the following services: (i) Issuing commissions to state, district and county officers; (ii) Filing pardons, requisitions and appointments of agents; (iii) Filing oaths of office. (c) When any document is delivered to the office of the secretary of state for filing, the secretary of state may refuse the document for filing if: (i) The correct filing fee, any franchise tax, license fee, penalty or past due fees, taxes or penalties required to be paid have not been paid; and (ii) Provision for payment of those items set forth in paragraph (i) of this section has not been established in a manner approved by the secretary of state.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
