Art. 1 Zweck
1 Dieses Gesetz bezweckt, die Voraussetzungen für eine sichere Elektrizitätsversorgung sowie für einen wettbewerbsorientierten Elektrizitätsmarkt zu schaffen. 2 Es soll ausserdem die Rahmenbedingungen festlegen für: a. eine zuverlässige und nachhaltige Versorgung mit Elektrizität in allen Landesteilen; b. die Erhaltung und Stärkung der internationalen Wettbewerbsfähigkeit der Schweizer Elektrizitätswirtschaft.
