Title 26 Insurance Code

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

Your change, as a redline

26-13-201. False applications, claims and proofs of loss prohibited.

(a) No person shall knowingly or willfully: (i) Make any false or fraudulent statement or representation in or with reference to any application for insurance or for the purpose of obtaining any money or benefit; (ii) Present or cause to be presented a false or fraudulent claim or any proof in support of a claim for the payment of the loss upon a contract of insurance; (iii) Prepare, make or subscribe a false or fraudulent certificate, or other document with intent that the certificate or other document may be presented or used in support of the claim.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
