Title 26 Insurance Code

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

(a) A policy may contain additional provisions not inconsistent with this code and which are: (i) Required to be inserted by the laws of the insurer's domicile; (ii) Necessary, because of the manner in which the insurer is constituted or operated, in order to state the rights and obligations of the parties to the contract; or (iii) Desired by the insurer and neither prohibited by law nor in conflict with any provisions required to be included therein.

Your change, as a redline

26-15-114. Additional policy contents.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
