Title 26 Insurance Code

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

As published

26-15-118. Validity and construction of noncomplying policies.

(a) Any policy delivered or issued for delivery to any person in this state in violation of this code, but otherwise binding on the insurer, is valid, but shall be construed as provided in this code. (b) Any condition, omission or provision not in compliance with this code and contained in any policy, rider or endorsement, otherwise valid, is not thereby invalid but shall be construed and applied in accordance with the condition, omission or provision as would have applied if it had been in full compliance with this code.

Your change, as a redline

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
