Title 26 Insurance Code

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

Your change, as a redline

26-15-128. Insurer's acts not constituting waiver of policy provisions or defenses.

(a) None of the following acts by or on behalf of an insurer constitutes a waiver of any provision of a policy, or of any right, or of any defense of the insurer thereunder or otherwise: (i) Acknowledgment of the receipt of notice of loss or claim under the policy; (ii) Furnishing forms for reporting a loss or claim, for giving information relative thereto, or for making proof of loss, or receiving or acknowledging receipt of the forms or proofs completed or uncompleted; (iii) Investigating any loss or claim under any policy or engaging in negotiations looking toward a possible settlement of any such loss or claim.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
