Title 26 Insurance Code

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

Your change, as a redline

26-23-323. Division of premiums and charges.

(a) Nothing in this article shall be construed as prohibiting the division of premiums and charges between or among a title insurer and its title agent, two (2) or more title insurers, one (1) or more title insurers and one (1) or more title agents or two (2) or more title agents, provided the division of premiums and charges does not constitute: (i) An unlawful rebate or inducement under this article; or (ii) Payment of a forwarding fee or finder's fee.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
