§ 1 Adoptionsvermittlung
Adoptionsvermittlung ist das Zusammenführen von Kindern unter 18 Jahren und Personen, die ein Kind adoptieren wollen (Adoptionsbewerber), mit dem Ziel der Adoption. Adoptionsvermittlung ist auch der Nachweis der Gelegenheit, ein Kind zu adoptieren oder adoptieren zu lassen, und zwar auch dann, wenn das Kind noch nicht geboren oder noch nicht gezeugt ist. Die Ersatzmuttervermittlung gilt nicht als Adoptionsvermittlung.
