1Die Auszeichnung wird einmalig an Personen verliehen, die in der Stadt Schaffhausen geboren, aufgewachsen oder wohnhaft sind oder deren herausragendes Engagement in besonderem Masse der Stadt Schaffhausen zu Gute kommt. 2 Bewerbungen für die Auszeichnung sind nicht zulässig. 3 Der Stadtrat entscheidet auf Antrag des Stadtpräsidenten, wem die Ehrenmedaille verliehen wird.
