Le président du conseil d’administration est assisté par le personnel de l’office placé sous la direction et l’autorité du conseil d’administration. Chaque office doit s’assurer la collaboration d’au moins un assistant social ou assistant d’hygiène sociale à temps plein au sein d’un service en charge du travail social. L’office social peut confier la gestion du service en charge du travail social, moyennant convention, à un organisme social, agréé suivant la loi du 8 septembre 1998 réglant les relations entre l’Etat et les organismes œuvrant dans les domaines social, familial et thérapeutique (ASFT) et disposant du personnel qualifié nécessaire.
