Title 16 City, County, State and Local Powers

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

As published

16-9-112. 911 outage reporting.

Any service supplier who owns, operates or controls any communications equipment necessary for the operation of a 911 emergency reporting system shall, if the failure of the communications equipment disables, impairs or degrades the operation of a 911 emergency system to a degree that materially affects emergency communications through a 911 system, report interruptions of service as required by rules promulgated by the public service commission.

Your change, as a redline

16-9-112. 911 outage reporting.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
