Title 35 Public Health and Safety

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

What to do with it
As published

35-11-1101. Records available to the public; restrictions.

(a) Any records, reports or information obtained under this act or the rules, regulations and standards promulgated hereunder are available to the public. Upon a showing satisfactory to the director by any person that his records, reports or information or particular parts thereof, other than emission and pollution data, to which the director and administrators have access under this act if made public would divulge trade secrets, the director and administrators shall consider the records, reports or information or particular portions thereof confidential in the administration of this act. (b) Nothing herein shall be construed to prevent disclosure of any records, reports or information to federal, state or local agencies necessary for the purposes of administration of any federal, state or local air, water or land control measures or regulations or when relevant to any proceedings under this act. (c) In any suit under this section or the Public Records Act, W.S. 16-4-201 et seq., to compel the release of information under this act, the court may assess against the state reasonable attorney fees and other litigation costs reasonably incurred in any case in which the complainant has substantially prevailed and in which the court determines the award is appropriate.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
