Title 35 Public Health and Safety

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

Your change, as a redline

35-11-1303. Applicability of Wyoming Insurance Code; exemption.

(a) The Wyoming Insurance Code applies to transactions under this act except: (i) The state and its officers, agencies and employees are exempt from the licensing, financial and tax requirements imposed by chapters 3, 4, 6, 7 and 8 of the Wyoming Insurance Code; (ii) Any person who contracts with the state to transact insurance under this act is subject to the Wyoming Insurance Code as if the state were an insurer with a certificate of authority to transact the insurance in this state.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
