Title 35 Public Health and Safety

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

Your change, as a redline

35-17-104. Exemption from liability for witnesses.

(a) Notwithstanding any other provision of law, no person providing information to any professional standard review organization shall be held, by reason of having provided such information, to have violated any criminal law, or to be civilly liable under any law unless: (i) The information is unrelated to the performance of the duties and functions of the professional standard review organization; or (ii) The information is false and the person providing the information knew or had reason to know that the information was false.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
