Propose a change

Title 35 Public Health and Safety

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

What to do with it
As published

35-6-403. Prohibition of terminations of unborn children with detectable fetal heartbeats.

(a) Except as provided in subsection (b) of this section, no person shall perform, induce, attempt to perform or attempt to induce a termination of pregnancy if: (i) The unborn child has a detectable fetal heartbeat; or (ii) The person fails or has failed to make the determination of whether the unborn child has a detectable fetal heartbeat under W.S. 35-6-402. (b) The restriction in subsection (a) of this section shall not apply if, in reasonable medical judgment, a medical emergency exists. If a medical emergency exists, a licensed physician may terminate the pregnancy, provided that the termination of the pregnancy shall be in the manner that provides the best opportunity for the unborn child to survive, unless that manner would pose a greater risk of death or substantial and irreversible physical impairment to the pregnant woman.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
