National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

108 Contingent removal

(1) In an efficiency case or a fraud case, the Local Health Board may, instead of deciding to remove a practitioner from its list, decide to remove him contingently. (2) If it so decides, it must impose such conditions as it may decide on his inclusion in the list with a view to— (a) removing any prejudice to the efficiency of the services in question (in an efficiency case), or (b) preventing further acts or omissions within section 107(3)(a) (in a fraud case). (3) If the Local Health Board determines that the practitioner has failed to comply with a condition, it may decide to— (a) vary the conditions, or impose different conditions, or (b) remove him from its list. (4) The Local Health Board may decide to vary the terms of service of the person concerned for the purpose of or in connection with the imposition of any conditions by virtue of this section.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
