National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

109 Fraud and unsuitability cases: supplementary

(1) Where the practitioner is a body corporate, the body corporate must be treated for the purposes of this Chapter as meeting a condition referred to in section 107(3) or (4)— (a) in the case of an optometrist not referred to in paragraph (b), if any director meets that condition (whether or not he first did so when he was a director), and (b) in the case of a body corporate providing pharmaceutical services or an optometrist which is a limited liability partnership, if any one of the body of persons controlling the body meets that condition (whether or not he first did so when he was such a person). (2) A practitioner must be treated for the purposes of this Chapter as meeting the condition referred to in section 107(3) if— (a) another person, because of an act or omission of his occurring in the course of providing any services mentioned in section 107(1) on the practitioner's behalf, meets that condition, and (b) the practitioner failed to take all such steps as were reasonable to prevent acts or omissions within section 107(3)(a) occurring in the course of the provision of those services on his behalf.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
