National Health Service (Wales) Act 2006
Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.
Change 1
119 Corresponding provisions in Scotland and Northern Ireland
(1) This section applies where it appears to the Welsh Ministers that there is provision in Scotland or Northern Ireland under which a person may be dealt with in any way which corresponds (whether or not exactly) with a way in which a person may be dealt with under this Chapter. (2) A decision in Scotland or Northern Ireland to deal with such a person in such a way is referred to in this section as a “corresponding decision”. (3) If this section applies, the Welsh Ministers may make regulations providing for the effect to be given in Wales to a corresponding decision. (4) That effect need not be the same as the effect of the decision in the place where it was made. (5) The regulations may not provide for a corresponding decision to be reviewed or revoked in Wales.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".
Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.
A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
