Title 19 Defense Forces and Affairs

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

19-12-102. Apprehension.

(a) "Apprehension" means the taking of a member into custody. (b) Any person authorized by this code, Chapter 47 of title 10, United States Code, or by regulations issued under either code to apprehend persons subject to this code, and any civil officer or peace officer of this state having authority to apprehend offenders under the laws of the United States or this state, may do so upon reasonable belief that an offense has been committed and that the person apprehended committed the offense.

Your change, as a redline

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
