Pension Schemes Act 2026
Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.
Change 1
91 Directions to pause payments or transfers of liabilities: supplementary provision
(1) This section applies to a direction under section 90(1)(d) (a “pause direction”). (2) The Regulator may make a pause direction only if satisfied that doing so is reasonably necessary to protect the interests of members of the superfund scheme. (3) A pause direction may make different provision for different purposes. (4) The Regulator must cancel a pause direction if no longer satisfied as described in subsection (2). (5) A pause direction, so far as not already cancelled, ceases to have effect when the period of concern to which it relates comes to an end. (6) A payment that would have fallen due but for a pause direction falls due when the pause direction ceases to have effect. (7) A pause direction within section 90(1)(d)(ii) (no transfers of liabilities) does not affect an order or provision falling within section 28(1) of the Welfare Reform and Pensions Act 1999 (pension sharing orders or provisions). (8) The Secretary of State may by regulations modify any provision of Part 4ZA of the Pension Schemes Act 1993 (transfer rights etc) in its application to a superfund scheme in relation to which a pause direction has effect containing provision within section 90(1)(d)(ii) (no transfer of liabilities). (9) Regulations under subsection (8) are subject to the affirmative procedure.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".
Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.
A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
