Localism Act 2011
Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

(1) This section applies if a local authority receives notice under section 95(2) in respect of land included in the authority's list of assets of community value. (2) The authority must cause the entry in the list for the land to reveal— (a) that notice under section 95(2) has been received in respect of the land, (b) the date when the authority received the notice, and (c) the ends of the initial moratorium period, the full moratorium period and the protected period that apply under section 95 as a result of the notice. (3) If the land is included in the list in response to a community nomination, the authority must give written notice, to the person who made the nomination, of the matters mentioned in subsection (2)(a), (b) and (c). One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".
Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.
A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
