Title 1 Civil Procedure

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

Your change, as a redline

1-31-102. Actions against corporations.

(a) A like action may be brought against a corporation: (i) When it has violated the law governing its creation or renewal; (ii) When it has forfeited its privileges and franchises by nonuse; (iii) When it has committed or omitted an act which amounts to a surrender of its corporate rights, privileges and franchises; (iv) When it has misused a franchise or privilege conferred upon it by law or exercised a franchise or privilege not so conferred.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
