Propose a change

Title 1 Civil Procedure

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

Change 1

What to do with it
As published

1-33-109. Publication of notice of appointment of

receiver; proof of publication; procedure when claimant out of state. After the notice is given as required, a copy with an affidavit of publication must be filed in the office of the clerk of court and the court shall enter a decree that notice to creditors has been duly given and that all claims not exhibited as required by law are barred. When it appears by affidavit to the satisfaction of the court that a claimant had no notice by reason of being out of the state, the claim may upon order of the court be presented at any time before a decree of final settlement of the receivership is entered.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
