§ 16 Eichraum
Der Eichraum ist der auszumessende Teil des Schiffes, der von der Leerebene (§ 17), der oberen Eichebene (§ 18) und den Außenseiten der zwischen diesen Ebenen liegenden Schiffswandung eingeschlossen ist. Nischen, Anhänge und Ausbuchtungen in diesem Bereich (z. B. Ankertaschen, Wellentunnel) sind bei der Ausmessung zu berücksichtigen.
