Public Authorities (Fraud, Error and Recovery) Act 2025
Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.
Change 1
37 Deputies
(1) This section applies where a person (a “deputy”) acts on behalf of an account holder (including a liable person) in relation to their account by virtue of— (a) a power of attorney, or (b) an appointment by, or an order of, a court. (2) The following provisions apply in relation to the deputy of the account holder as they apply in relation to the account holder— (a) section 17(7); (b) section 19(9); (c) section 21; (d) section 27(1); (e) section 28; (f) section 29(3), (6) and (8)(b); (g) section 30(3); (h) section 31(3); (i) section 32(2) or (4); (j) section 34; (k) section 35. (3) Section 29(7)(a) and (b) applies in relation to the deputy of the account holder instead of the account holder. (4) Subsection (5) applies where— (a) a bank is given— (i) an account information notice or a general information notice under section 19, (ii) a notice under section 21, (iii) a further information notice under section 31, or (iv) a direct deduction order, and (b) a deputy acts on behalf of an account holder of an account to which the notice or order relates. (5) The bank must give the Minister the name and correspondence address that it holds for that deputy (unless the bank has already provided that information).

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".
Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.
A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.

Ask what your change would do, who would gain and who would bear a cost, and where something like it is already law. The assistant reads your draft as it stands, cites the law and the studies it finds, and takes no side. What you file stays yours.
