Title 15 Cities and Towns

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

Your change, as a redline

15-10-105. Joint exercise of powers; increasing area of operation.

(a) Any powers capable of exercise by a municipality or county under this chapter may be exercised jointly with any other municipality or county or combinations thereof. (b) The area of operation of any municipality, county or housing authority or any combination of these bodies operating jointly may be increased to include additional contiguous areas upon the request or consent, by resolution, of the governing body of the municipality or county within which the additional area lies.

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
