Title 15 Cities and Towns

Write the words of this act the way you think they should read. Solon shows your change as a redline against the published text and pins it to that exact text, so it can never be applied to wording you did not see.

15-6-606. Lien; creation; enforcement; when vitiated.

(a) Any special assessment levied together with all costs and penalties constitute a lien upon the property assessed from the date of the final passage of the resolution levying the assessment. The lien may be enforced as provided by law for the enforcement of other liens. (b) No mistake in the description of the property or the name of the owner vitiates the liens unless it is impossible to identify the property from the description.

Your change, as a redline

One line that says what changes, such as "Halve the dog tax".

Who it helps, what it costs, what it fixes. It is what persuades people to support it.

A proposal here is not law. Support on Solon is evidence that people want the change; the official route says what it takes to make it law.
