Der Präsident gewährt auf Antrag einem ehemaligen Mitglied, das vor dem 1. Januar 1968 aus dem Bundestag ausgeschieden ist, sowie seinen Hinterbliebenen vom Ersten des Monats der Antragstellung an Leistungen aus der Alters- und Hinterbliebenenversorgung nach dem Diätengesetz 1968 vom 3. Mai 1968 (BGBl. I S. 334), zuletzt geändert durch Artikel VIII des Gesetzes vom 18. Februar 1977 (BGBl. I S. 297).
